The fastest way to delete your account
Use the authenticated account control when you can still sign in.
1. Open your profile
Sign in to Eezpays and open Profile from the app navigation.
2. Confirm your identity
Select Delete account, enter your current password if requested, and type DELETE.
3. Delete permanently
Review the notice and confirm. Your sessions are revoked and the account can no longer be accessed.
What happens
Data removed when deletion is completed
The deletion process removes the information used to operate your account.
Login credentials, active sessions, and linked Google identity
Name, email address, phone number, Eircode, interests, and account preferences
Reward-wallet points, vouchers, coupons, and gift-card credentials
Cookie preferences and other account-linked consent records
Personal recipient and fulfilment details that are no longer needed
Limited retention
Some records cannot be deleted immediately
Eezpays retains only the minimum information needed for a lawful purpose, with access restricted.
Transaction records
Anonymised payment, purchase, refund, reward, tax, and accounting records may be retained for up to 7 years.
Security records
Limited security and access logs may be retained for up to 365 days for fraud prevention and incident investigation.
Restricted backups
Residual copies may remain in protected database backups for up to 30 days before normal rotation removes them.
Cannot access the app?
Email contact@eezpays.ie from the address registered to your Eezpays account with the subject “Delete my Eezpays account”. We will verify account ownership before processing the request. If a payment or order is still processing, we will explain the step required before deletion can be completed. Any cash wallet balance must also be withdrawn or resolved with support first.
