The short answer

When an eligible action earns Eezpays points, the reward is recorded in your Eezpays wallet. The conversion is transparent: one eligible point equals €0.01 of in-app credit, shown as Currency Balance.

Not every payment or service earns a reward. The relevant journey should show the applicable reward before you confirm, while your Eezpays wallet provides the record after completion.

What to remember

Check the displayed reward before completing an eligible action.

Track earned, converted and used value in one Eezpays wallet.

Review the provider and transaction conditions before purchase.

01

Three figures, three different jobs

The easiest way to understand the wallet is to separate the figures you may see. Points are the reward units attached to eligible activity. Currency Balance is the in-app credit created from eligible points or received through an eligible transfer. Your payment method remains separate: it is the card or other method used to fund a purchase handled completely via Stripe when Eezpays wallet credit does not cover it.

Keeping those figures separate makes the activity record easier to read. A reward entry should identify the qualifying action, the amount awarded and its status. A spend or transfer entry should show value leaving the available balance.

02

How the conversion works

For eligible rewards, one point is equivalent to €0.01 of in-app credit. That means 100 eligible points correspond to €1.00 of Currency Balance and 500 eligible points correspond to €5.00. This is an in-app value calculation; it should not be confused with exchanging physical cash or converting foreign currency or redeeming into any bank account.

The balance shown in the app is the reliable place to check what is available. Promotional examples can explain a reward, but the amount displayed for the specific eligible journey and the completed wallet entry are what matter for that transaction.

03

When points are earned

Eligibility can depend on the provider, service, promotion and transaction status. A purchase that is cancelled, reversed, refunded or otherwise not completed may not produce a final reward, or a previously displayed reward may be adjusted in line with the applicable conditions.

Before confirming, look for the reward information within the journey. If no reward is shown, do not assume the transaction will earn points. This keeps the decision based on the actual offer rather than a general expectation.

  • Confirm the service or offer is marked as eligible.
  • Check the number of points displayed before payment.
  • Review the completed transaction and reward entries afterward.

04

Using and sharing available credit

Available Currency Balance can support eligible purchases in Eezpays. Where person-to-person sharing is available, confirm the recipient carefully before sending because names, phone numbers and account identifiers can be easy to mistype.

If an expected reward does not appear, first check whether the underlying transaction is completed rather than pending. Keep the transaction reference and avoid sharing a full card number, password or one-time security code when requesting assistance.

Questions people ask

Frequently asked questions

How much is one Eezpays point worth?

For eligible rewards, one point equals €0.01 of in-app credit. One hundred eligible points therefore correspond to €1.00 of Currency Balance.

Do all payments earn points?

No. Eligibility depends on the particular provider, service or promotion. Check the reward shown in the journey before confirming the transaction.

Are Eezpays points the same as euro coins or cash?

No. Points are digital reward units. Eligible points convert into in-app Currency Balance; they are not physical euro coins and this is not foreign-currency exchange.

Why might a displayed reward change?

A reward can depend on successful completion. A cancelled, reversed or refunded transaction may not qualify, subject to the conditions shown for that journey.

What should I provide if a reward is missing?

Provide the transaction reference, approximate time, amount and a screenshot with sensitive details hidden. Never send your password, full card number or one-time security code.
